Will Roland Racing had a great weekend at Bill Thomas Raceway in Cumming Georgia; it was a region 3 race plus a local point’s race. Will qualified 6th in senior Honda and started 5th in the B main.
After just a few laps he was in first place and never looked back, with a B main win that put him starting 6th in the A main. Will was able to pull off a 3rd place finish in the senior Honda a main.
Will also qualified straight into the A main in his light 160 race car with a 3rd place starting position.
Will was able to maneuver his way to lead in about 12 laps and led the race until 7 laps to go until he hit the rumble strips at the bottom of the track making him spin and collecting a couple more cars.
Will’s car was unhurt and was able to restart the race in the rear of the field and with just 7 laps left was able to pull off a 5th place finish.
Will is looking forward for the next race on May 7th at Bill Thomas Raceway.
