Top-10 finish with Spring Nationals at I-75 Raceway

Friday night found Will Roland in action at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) for the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals event. With the top-four qualifiers getting locked into the main event, Roland fell short in qualifying but finished third in his B-Main. Starting the $5,053-to-win A-Main in 13th, Will gained four spots in the 40-lapper to register a ninth-place finish.

The following night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) for the Southern All Star Series-sanctioned Rockin’ with the Stars, Will secured his spot into the show with a 10-lap B-Main victory. With $5,000 on the line, Roland was challenging for a top-10 spot when contact with another competitor on lap 15 ended his night early.
